this was an amazing game! the music with the sound effects, the sparse voice acting, and the art really came together to elevate the script and create an immersive atmosphere. it was a really worthwhile experience. thank you for making it!!
I really, really loved this story. The character designs each had such charm, especially the protagonist. Before this game, I'd never seen a Ren'py game with this kind of presentation and it really blew me away. It felt like I was getting taken along a journey, I had a great time!

I started making personal games a decade a go while on a lonely internship, far away from home.
There was a bookstore next to the cafe where I worked, and they had Vertical's translations of Tezuka's gekiga like Ayako, The Book of Human Insects, and Dororo. The style and drama of those would be a bit of a comfort food when I was tired from debugging.
I had a lot of fun with this, and you all did a lovely job of capturing the energy of those works!
That's a nice memory! Even though those stories are fairly dark, there's a kind of nostalgia they bring from another age. I tried to capture that feeling in the story. I'm happy you enjoyed it 🙇🏽♂️ Thank you very much for playing.
This was a delightful game from start to end. The anthology of stories culminating in one, shared tale made for a wonderful experience, complemented perfectly by the art style and the music. You managed to paint a complete picture of each character in such a short time; I actually found myself tearing up at the end. And you did this while also dangling tantalizing hooks with the Wanderer that made me want to latch on and see more of his life. To see his own tale told.
Ahaha, thank you very much for the nice comment. I tried to make it a satisfying read with a spattering of details. I like the Wanderer too, I want to see the rest of his story. Thank you for playing. o(* ̄▽ ̄*)ブ
I mentioned this on Twitter already, but I loved the storytelling in Reaper's Goodbye.
The presentation, with the 600x800 game window, the Tezuka-influenced character designs, and the black and white color scheme, created a unique atmosphere.
I also adore anthology stories - so this visual novel was basically made to cater to me. Excellent work all around!
I did a readthrough of Reaper's Goodbye on my channel. (It starts at 1:13:05)
Thank you so much Mado for the kind words. I wanted to make an indulgent game of everything I like ^_^ The video was nice to watch! Your narraration is great! Thank you again 🙇🏽♂️
Right from the bat, this game already reminds me alot of Midnight on the Milky Way, through its colourful cast, somber yet optimistic atmosphere, and the very snazzy soundtracks. So, it's safe to say, I'm pleasantly surprised when I found out you're the CREATOR for both of these games. Thank you so much for making such wonderful games and short stories.
Oh wow, thank you so much for looking at my other games. I tried to give each patron a little bit of kick despite the short runtime. I'm happy you enjoyed them both, thank you for playing and taking the time to comment. ♪(´▽`)
Yes, Tezuka was a big inspiration! (^人^) I want to write a long story one day too, although it will take some. I have a few other visual novels available in the meantime 🙇

I had flashbacks of Hotel Dusk with this visual novel. Congratulations!!
Thank you 🙇🏽♂️ Rika Suzuki is an inspiration to me.
This was a beautiful VN, I played most of it during a dark misty night which seemed like the right atmosphere for this sort of thing.
That's the perfect time to play (‾◡◝) Thank you kindly.

All of the stories were beautifully written. I really enjoyed reading this visual novel.
Thank you so much for the video! Your reading voice is very nice.
Thank you!
I loved the stories and the drawing style, it felt very Tenzuka<3
The only thing I didn't like is that it's so short, I hope one day you dare to write a very long story<3<3
