It's out! It's here! Yahoo!! Yippeee!!! Let's do a little dance, my lost souls!

Ah, so it's done... I'm writing this right after I woke up, which was around 1 in the afternoon. I'd been up until around 3 am or so every night before drawing furiously because my body was just too excited about it. Right before uploading I encountered an error that made me consider lobotomizing myself with a grapefruit spoon so I would no longer experience the self imposed anguish of game development, but lovely programmer Sandy rescued the project before I could even make it to the kitchen. Thank you endlessly, Sandy. He's been such a great help. He did all the pretty opening stuff and organized the story menu and everything, don't it just make your heart sing?

Anyhow, my roomate came into my room twice to inquire about something this morning. The first time, I said "GET OUT" in a very menacing voice. The second time, I sat up and growled before flopping back into a coma. I don't remember any of this.

Enough of using this as a personal diary... Although does anybody actually read these things? Well, the game is out, and I had great fun working on it. It carries a lot of inspiration from Showa era comics, especially from Osamu Tezuka and Yoshihiro Tatsumi. I wanted to write bite-sized short stories while capturing the personalities of the characters effectively. They are only there for a short amount of time, so it's important to reveal something at least a little interesting about them, yes? The main shaggy guy just sits and eats the whole time, so I had to do something with that too.

Thank you so much Sandy for rescuing me a number of times and adding all those lovely little flourishes. And thank you Lankku for getting all the SFX together, the story couldn't be told without it.

May your feasts be plentiful and you path merry, my dear lost souls!
