Ahhhh. Much better. At the time of writing this, I am drinking a Taiwanese beer...It's mango flavored... I don't normally like beer, but this one is really good. This morning, I had a mysterious Korean drink as well. I thought it was a vitamin drink at first, but it was actually a super charged energy drink! I woke up real fast after that! Anyhow! Gaming!

This is the first project I've put out in a year. The sister game, Melting of the Winter Gears, was my last project, and by looking at the devlog there you can see the kind of state I was in. I couldn't make anything. But I saw this jam was starting again, so I asked my friends very suddenly to help me. We made this, and I am very happy.

I didn't have to do the programming this time, so it was much better. Sandy is such a godsend. He's very patient and made everything look so nice, I'm thankful. And of course the folks working on music knocked it out of the park as always.

This, of course, is just the first four days. We thought about releasing everything, but health issues arose and staying up until 4 am every night for a week was an awful idea it turns out! So the script is fully written, but we wanna take a moment to flesh out things.

For the story, I wanted it to be "shadier" than Melting since the last game was so washed out and bright. Instead of an empty town, it would be bustling, and instead of wide open spaces, there would be alleys. Instead of a cold, hard emotionless lady, there would be an ultra-cheerful, innocent girl. But where as everyone in Melting holds a troubled past that effects only themselves, Prayers has a cast tied together by dark secrets that threaten to hurt each other. Isn't that nice? I think the beer is getting to me. Anyhow, I like my friends very much and I am thankful that they put up with my troublesome demands this whole time. Au revoir. Please watch for the full release.
